We’re from a major metropolitan city with no shortage of incredible modern American restaurants, including many Michelin-starred and Michelin-recognized spots. Motus would absolutely hold its own against any of them and deserves a look from the Michelin Guide. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the menu is perfectly curated. The drinks are excellent, and the chef’s accompaniments throughout the meal are a great touch that elevate the entire experience. The wait staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Overall, this place is lights out and a must-visit every time we come to Utica for the summer.

To be honest I came in with out expectations. The staff is super attentive and sweet . The food is so good! I had the moths burger( I know a safe choice) how ever it was amazing . It is not your average burger. The cocktails are super unique and actually good . The succotash left me baffled ! How can it be all veggies but taste like a chicken stew ( in my opinion of course) the sword fish was amazing ( I don’t eat fish) this will definitely be my new favorite

Bringing a true farm to table experience isn’t easy, Motus does it with finesse. Great people serving great food with great service at a fair price. What more could you ask for?

This place was excellent! What a gem right in downtown Utica... The place is very unassuming, and is very well kept, clean and comfortable. I'm not one that goes often to what I would call a "fancy" restaurant, but motus was very approachable, with wonderful food. The food was absolutely incredible, from the amuse bouche all the way through our entrees, it was all served hot, obviously cooked to order, and each plate just as delicious as the next. I had the mushroom polenta to start with, the motus burger and the sweet corn grits. Just amazing... The service was also just as good. Nikki, our server, was just the right amount of attentive, and was knowledgeable about the food. For a smaller place, one would expect that they need to turn over tables quickly, but not here. It was comfortable and we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend motus to anyone in the area, and it's proximity to the Stanley makes it a perfect place for a pre-show dinner. We will definitely be back...and soon.

This was one of the best meals my husband and I have had! We chose the prix fix menu and enjoyed everything we ate. Our server was wonderful and attentive. They also gave us complimentary champagne because we were celebrating. The atmosphere was very relaxed and made it so you could enjoy a fancy meal to celebrate a special occasion but also not stuffy so you could just swing by for a weeknight meal as well. I would absolutely come back again.
